High and Low Finance

At Shady Belle, Charles Smith tells Arthur Morgan and Uncle that he has bought plans for the Bank of Rhodes. The drawings reveal a weak point in one of the building's walls. Charles proposes breaking through it with dynamite and taking the money from the safes inside. Arthur joins Charles and Uncle as they leave camp for Rhodes.

The three ride into Rhodes and approach the bank. A patrolman is guarding the area near the planned entry point, so Arthur quietly deals with him before he can raise an alarm. Arthur then returns to Charles and Uncle, who are waiting nearby with the explosives and the bank plans.

Charles leads Arthur to the weak section of the bank wall. They set the dynamite and blast an opening into the building, giving them access to the safes. Arthur and Charles move inside and empty the safes while Uncle remains involved in the robbery outside the bank.

The explosion brings the Law down on Rhodes, forcing the gang members to flee the town. Arthur, Charles and Uncle escape across Scarlett Meadows in Lemoyne and make their way back to Shady Belle. Once they are clear of pursuit, Uncle tells Charles that he expects the two of them will become good friends.
