John Marston encuentra a Landon Ricketts en una mesa de póquer de Chuparosa y se sienta con él, Andreas Müller y varios vecinos. La partida dura dos manos, hasta que Müller acusa a John de haber hecho trampas. La acusación deja a todos los jugadores a punto de desenfundar alrededor de la mesa, pero Ricketts contiene la situación y convence a Müller de arreglar el asunto en un duelo.
John se enfrenta a Müller en la calle y lo mata de un disparo. Luego se reúne con Ricketts para tomar una copa, pero uno de los jugadores de póquer se acerca con una mujer retenida a punta de cuchillo. El hombre amenaza con matarla como represalia por la muerte de Müller. John desenfunda y lo mata antes de que pueda herir a la rehén.
Cuatro compañeros del muerto aparecen y abren fuego en Chuparosa. John y Ricketts luchan contra ellos por el pueblo y matan a Manolo Santander, Selestino Herrada, Rigoberto Artiz y Paloma Figueras. Cuando termina el tiroteo, John y Ricketts se separan en Chuparosa.

Curiosidades
- ◆If the player looks under the table when the shot widens as Marston sits down, on Ricketts's right thigh is what seems to be a playing card. It is a cheat card since moments before, Ricketts is seen to be winning a lot of chips and later states he has already beaten Müller.
- ◆When Marston says to Müller "As you wish, Germany. As you wish.", this is most likely a reference to the William Goldman novel The Princess Bride.
- ◆After all the poker players and some other bystanders draw their guns and aim at each other, Müller says "There must be a name for this", which is a reference to the fact that they were in a "Mexican Standoff" in Mexico.
- ◆No matter how many chips the player makes, the player will only get $50 from finishing the mission, losing money as the buy in at the poker table is $100.
- ◆Ricketts may sometimes say he knows the girl the stranger is holding hostage and thus the player should be careful not to kill her.
- ◆Even if any of the players in the poker game are defeated by being busted out, they will all still be playing in the cutscene thereafter.
- ◆It is possible for everyone during the poker game to fold on both rounds, meaning instant chips for the player.
- ◆It seems as though Müller can only be defeated if the player kills him. If the player attempts to shoot Müller's weapon or non-lethal areas, the blue bar will hardly increase, regardless of how accurately timed and Müller will more than likely defeat the player.
- ◆At the beginning of the mission cutscene and after the poker game is ruined, two characters can be seen with the same character models as Raudel Diaz and Gustavo Andares from the Multiplayer. According to the game files using a mod, they are listed as "Müller gang", although they do not appear at all in the mission outside of cutscenes.
