John Marston trova Landon Ricketts a un tavolo da poker a Chuparosa e si siede con lui, Andreas Müller e gli altri abitanti del posto. La partita dura due mani prima che Müller sostenga che John lo abbia imbrogliato. L'accusa porta ogni giocatore sul punto di estrarre una pistola attraverso il tavolo, ma Ricketts placa il confronto e persuade Müller a risolvere la faccenda in duello.
John affronta Müller in strada e gli spara, uccidendolo. Poi si unisce a Ricketts per bere qualcosa, ma uno dei giocatori di poker si avvicina tenendo una donna sotto la minaccia di un coltello. L'uomo minaccia di ucciderla per vendicare la morte di Müller. John estrae la pistola e lo uccide prima che possa fare del male all'ostaggio.
Quattro compagni dell'uomo morto escono allo scoperto e aprono il fuoco a Chuparosa. John e Ricketts li affrontano per la città, uccidendo Manolo Santander, Selestino Herrada, Rigoberto Artiz e Paloma Figueras. Quando la sparatoria termina, John e Ricketts si separano a Chuparosa.

Curiosità
- ◆If the player looks under the table when the shot widens as Marston sits down, on Ricketts's right thigh is what seems to be a playing card. It is a cheat card since moments before, Ricketts is seen to be winning a lot of chips and later states he has already beaten Müller.
- ◆When Marston says to Müller "As you wish, Germany. As you wish.", this is most likely a reference to the William Goldman novel The Princess Bride.
- ◆After all the poker players and some other bystanders draw their guns and aim at each other, Müller says "There must be a name for this", which is a reference to the fact that they were in a "Mexican Standoff" in Mexico.
- ◆No matter how many chips the player makes, the player will only get $50 from finishing the mission, losing money as the buy in at the poker table is $100.
- ◆Ricketts may sometimes say he knows the girl the stranger is holding hostage and thus the player should be careful not to kill her.
- ◆Even if any of the players in the poker game are defeated by being busted out, they will all still be playing in the cutscene thereafter.
- ◆It is possible for everyone during the poker game to fold on both rounds, meaning instant chips for the player.
- ◆It seems as though Müller can only be defeated if the player kills him. If the player attempts to shoot Müller's weapon or non-lethal areas, the blue bar will hardly increase, regardless of how accurately timed and Müller will more than likely defeat the player.
- ◆At the beginning of the mission cutscene and after the poker game is ruined, two characters can be seen with the same character models as Raudel Diaz and Gustavo Andares from the Multiplayer. According to the game files using a mod, they are listed as "Müller gang", although they do not appear at all in the mission outside of cutscenes.
