Notas del jugador
Lobo es un lobo raro y legendario de Red Dead Redemption. Es un animal gigantesco, de pelaje negro uniforme y ojos amarillos brillantes, que puede cazarse y despellejarse. Al matarlo y despellejarlo se obtienen Lobo's Fur, Lobo's Meat y Lobo's Heart, provisiones que pueden venderse.
En singleplayer, Lobo se encuentra cerca de Aurora Basin, en el extremo noroeste de Tall Trees, West Elizabeth. Es uno de los animales legendarios necesarios para Master Hunter - Rank 10, junto con Gordo the Boar y Brumas the Bear. Su gran tamaño y su pelaje oscuro lo diferencian de los lobos corrientes de la zona.
En Redemption Multiplayer, Lobo aparece en Barranca, Nuevo Paraiso, al sureste de Chuparosa. Primero deben morir oleadas de lobos, tras lo cual aparece señalado con una calavera roja en el minimapa y acompañado por otro grupo de lobos. Encontrarlo y matarlo completa Master Hunter II: Rank 2.
Curiosidades
- ◆To design Lobo, developers probably took inspiration from the book Lobo the King of Currumpaw, in which author Ernest Thompson Seton describes (and actually hunted down) a black Wolf named Lobo, who lived in the Currumpaw Valley, New Mexico.
- ◆Lobo in both Spanish and Portuguese means wolf, making his name Wolf the Wolf.
- ◆Lobo has been known not to attack the player unless they attack him first, this may be due to the player fast traveling right where he spawns, or it may just be a glitch. This may also occur if he spawns at near the same time as Brumas the bear.
- ◆Sometimes, after he has been killed, his eyes may glow. They also may look slightly bloated.
- ◆In the Spanish version, his name is "Colmillo", which means "Fang".
- ◆Keifer the Wolf has the same model as Lobo.
- ◆Lobo's model may appear uncommonly during the "Bad Hunter" world event if the animal being hunted is a wolf; killing and skinning his model in this situation will only reward the player with the pelt, meat, and heart from a regular wolf.
