El Andalusian es un caballo de Guerra de tamaño mediano en Red Dead Redemption 2, con manejo Estándar. Es una raza compacta y potente, identificable por su cuerpo fuerte, su crin y cola espesas, y su cabeza de porte noble. La raza se basa en los caballos Andalusian de España, protegidos por la realeza española durante la época del juego y poco comunes en Estados Unidos.
Como caballo de Guerra, el Andalusian está más orientado a la resistencia y la salud que a la velocidad pura. Cuenta con buena salud y mayor resistencia, aunque su velocidad y aceleración quedan por debajo de las de los caballos más rápidos. Su manejo Estándar le da una agilidad y una respuesta moderadas, por lo que encaja en trayectos largos antes que en aceleraciones rápidas.
Los Andalusians aparecen en la naturaleza y también se consiguen en establos. Los ejemplares Dark Bay y Rose Gray se venden en establos. En el modo Historia, el Perlino Andalusian se puede obtener gratis a partir del Capítulo 2, cerca de Brandywine Drop, junto a la cascada y al lado de la primera "R" de Roanoke Ridge en el mapa.

- ◆In the mission "Sodom? Back to Gomorrah", the last lawman on horseback is riding a Rose Grey Andalusian, but due to time constraints in the mission there is no known way to steal this mount.
- ◆In the mission "Honor, Amongst Thieves", Captain Monroe rides a Dark Bay Andalusian.
- ◆Prior to the horse's official release in the December 2019 update, the Perlino Andalusian was only obtainable through using the cheats "You Are A Beast Built For War" or "You Want Something New".
- ◆Though rare, it's possible for the Perlino Andalusian to accidentally buck themself and the player off the cliff the horse is located on while the player is breaking the horse in. This, along with the fact that wolves can spawn in this location as well, is why it is recommended for the player to be cautious when trying to obtain this horse.
- ◆In the mission "A Fisher of Men", Agent Milton can be seen arriving on a Dark Bay Andalusian.
- ◆Andalusians were ludicrously rare in the United States during the period the game is set, as they were heavily protected by Spanish royalty. They were also not considered worth smuggling in illegally, making their presence in the game wildly implausible- albeit not impossible.
- ◆The Dark Bay Andalusian has a stripe and snip, in addition to displaying sooty characteristics.
- ◆The Rose Gray Andalusian is a greying bay horse with socks, although the purple hue appears to have been overdone.
- ◆The Perlino Andalusian features a stripe and blue eyes.
