En Beecher's Hope, Uncle se reúne con John cuando Charles regresa de vigilar los alrededores. Charles dice que los Skinner Brothers no volverán por un tiempo, así que los tres pueden empezar la casa del rancho que John ha comprado. Se ponen a montar la construcción prefabricada. Uncle asegura que su lumbago terminal le impide realizar trabajo pesado, por lo que se queda cerca para dar órdenes a John y Charles.
Durante las semanas siguientes, John y Charles levantan la casa por partes. Preparan los cimientos, colocan y clavan las vigas, alzan la estructura y terminan el tejado con las tejas. Uncle sigue presente, animándolos y dando instrucciones mientras los otros dos trabajan. Al acabar, John, Charles y Uncle se paran ante la vivienda terminada en Beecher's Hope y brindan por el nuevo hogar.
Más tarde, John se sienta dentro de la casa nueva para escribirle a Abigail. Le cuenta que Charles y Uncle han vuelto a su vida y que lo ayudaron a comprar el terreno y levantar la casa. John reconoce haber hecho una tontería para impresionarla, asegura que intenta dejar atrás su antigua vida y dice que extraña a Abigail y a Jack. Pasan unos días en Beecher's Hope.

- ◆This mission contains the song "House Building Song" by David Ferguson, which is not included among the video game's original soundtrack, but is included in The Housebuilding EP, which was released on February 12, 2021.
- ◆During many of the house building scenes in the mission, there is a Blue Jay that appears and seems to be unfazed by John and Charles as they construct Beecher's Hope. This has led to many fan theories about the bird potentially being a reincarnated version of Arthur, although there has been no official confirmation on this.
- ◆During the flashback scenes when John is writing his letter, he can be briefly seen with his 1899 hairstyle in one scene.
- ◆It is possible for a glitch to occur where John is looking jarringly upwards instead of in front during the hammering scenes.
- ◆If the player has a temporary horse active anywhere on the map when starting this mission, it will disappear after the mission is done. The player must stable their temporary horse beforehand if they want to keep it.
