Arthur llega a Strawberry para liberar a Micah Bell, que espera ser ahorcado por un doble asesinato. En la oficina del sheriff, Arthur se hace pasar por un cazarrecompensas que busca a los O'Driscolls e intenta ver a los detenidos. El sheriff Hanley se niega. Afuera, Micah le grita desde la ventana de su celda y le exige ayuda. Arthur apenas tolera a Micah, pero obedece la orden de Dutch y acepta sacarlo.
Arthur emplea una máquina de vapor para arrancar los barrotes de la celda de Micah. Le entrega un revólver, y Micah mata de inmediato a su compañero de celda O'Driscoll. Los agentes rodean la cárcel y el sheriff Hanley muere durante el tiroteo. Arthur quiere abandonar Strawberry, pero Micah se dirige a una casa para recuperar sus apreciados revólveres de Norman, un antiguo socio. - ◆"Blessed are the Meek" is a Bible verse, Matthew 5:5 - "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."
- ◆The title of the mission is ironic, as “Meek” means someone who is powerless or can endure suffering with patience; Micah, however, is anything but meek throughout the mission.
- ◆The player doesn’t have to visit the Sheriff to start the mission - they can go to Micah immediately if they wish.
- ◆If the player uses dynamite for the jailbreak and is quick enough to run to the Sheriff's office, they will be teleported back to Micah when the cutscene plays.
- ◆Before getting his own revolvers back, Micah uses a pair of Cattleman Revolvers.
- ◆This is strange because Arthur only hands Micah a single revolver after breaking him out, meaning Micah would only have one rather than two.
- ◆After "A Quiet Time", Micah's model is in the Strawberry jail. He remains there until the player saves him, and can be seen cowering while looking through the window.
- ◆Instead of ripping out the bars of Micah's cell with the steam donkey, the player can use dynamite. An altogether different way to rescue Micah is by eliminating all of the lawmen in the Sheriff's office, looting the keys to the cell, and freeing Bell from the inside.
- ◆However, the player can also free him without using the keys by alternatively placing dynamite on the door and the mission will continue as normal.
- ◆The O'Driscoll inmate is invincible and can only be killed with glitches.
- ◆Sometimes if the mission becomes unavailable due to the player committing a crime or becoming wanted by the law, the O'Driscoll may spawn outside of the jail and will act like a regular NPC in town.
- ◆Once the mission becomes available, the player will no longer be able to surrender to lawmen or bounty hunters, if they become wanted by the law anywhere in West Elizabeth. Instead, the law will start shooting on sight. This is due to Micah being imprisoned.
- ◆Once Arthur and Micah escape the law, a thunderstorm can be seen brewing in the distance. This could be viewed as a reflection of Micah's character, as thunderstorms usually symbolize chaos and a lack of any safety, which is exactly what Micah is known for.
- ◆If the player visits Wallace Station General Store after the mission, the shopkeeper will comment that the jailbreak down in Strawberry is the bloodiest he ever heard of and that it is going to take them a while to recover.
