À Michael's House, à Rockford Hills, Michael s'endort devant un film et se réveille en découvrant que Jimmy est rentré. Jimmy s'excuse de l'avoir drogué, s'en prend à son père au sujet de ses propres problèmes, puis admet qu'il lui manque. Il dit à Michael qu'Amanda est malheureuse avec Fabien. Michael décide de réunir la famille, et Jimmy et lui partent pour Bean Machine.
Amanda est avec Fabien au Bean Machine. Fabien la rabaisse et insulte Jimmy, provoquant Michael, mais c'est Amanda qui dit à Michael de le frapper. Michael prend le laptop Fruit d'un client installé à proximité et l'écrase sur le visage de Fabien. Amanda reconnaît que Michael lui manque aussi, à condition qu'ils suivent une thérapie. Elle emmène Fabien, blessé, et dit qu'elle les retrouvera au cabinet du Dr. Isiah Friedlander.
Michael et Jimmy se rendent à Blazing Tattoo, sur Vinewood Boulevard, pour retrouver Tracey. Ils surprennent Lazlow Jones en train de proposer à Tracey une nouvelle apparition dans Fame or Shame en échange de sexe. Michael force Lazlow à s'asseoir dans un fauteuil de tatouage, lui perce le nez, l'oreille et le sourcil, lui tatoue un pénis sur la poitrine ou le dos, et lui coupe sa queue-de-cheval. Il oblige Lazlow à promettre à Tracey cette apparition sans condition. Tracey repart avec Michael et Jimmy.
Au cabinet du Dr. Friedlander, à Pacific Bluffs, Amanda rejoint Michael, Jimmy et Tracey pour une thérapie familiale. Michael et Amanda recommencent bientôt à se disputer tandis que leurs enfants assistent à la séance. Dehors, Amanda accepte de rentrer à la maison et de réessayer. Michael ramène la famille à Michael's House, où Amanda prévient qu'elle s'installera à l'hôtel de Rockford Hills si elle y trouve des cadavres, des femmes faciles ou Trevor Philips. La perspective passe alors à Trevor, ivre et inconscient en sous-vêtements sur une petite île à l'est de Palomino Highlands, entouré de membres des Lost morts.

Anecdotes
- ◆The title of this mission is a reference to Reuniting the Families, a mission in GTA San Andreas, despite the fact that the two missions do not bear much similarity.
- ◆During the cutscene in Dr. Friedlander's office, the Dignity yacht can be seen in the background, however, after the cutscene, the boat will disappear.
- ◆After Michael turns the tv off with the remote with his hand, he is basically seen without it. This may be a glitch when he turn it off with his hand.
- ◆After Amanda and Fabien are leaving Bean Machine, the two chairs that they are sitting in suddenly disappears however it reppears after the cutscene ended.
- ◆On the drive home, Jimmy and Tracey hint that Amanda's sexual history includes Fabien LaRouche, Kyle Chavis, "the juice guy", "the dog walker", Jimmy's third-grade teacher, "the trash guy", Michael's proctologist, Jesse, Andy Moon and maybe even Dr. Friedlander.
- ◆At the beginning of the mission cutscene when Michael turns on the TV, the film he is watching is made within Rockstar Games' 2011 game , as demonstrated by the vehicle and protagonist walking down the stairs.
- ◆Michael tells Jimmy that he will "probably be dead in a few weeks". This foreshadows ending B of the game.
- ◆Each member of the De Santa Family will bleed out if shot even once by any weapon during this mission.
- ◆Despite the mission ending with Tracey being allowed to compete on Fame or Shame, there is no further storyline gameplay involving this story thread; the eventual outcome of her participation (she is defeated in the audience vote by a trio of masturbating monkeys) is only learned via Weazel News reports and if the player watches the Fame or Shame broadcast on TV (during which Tracey sings a song about her father and Lazlow references his encounter with Michael).
- ◆If any NPCs are killed, or if the player gains a wanted level, the family will react and scold Michael.
- ◆Before Michael starts piercing Lazlow's body parts, Lazlow will scream "you're not going to give me a Prince Albert, are you?". Prince Albert is a male genital piercing.
- ◆When piercing Lazlow, he will react in the following ways. For piercing his brow, Lazlow will say, "Owww! Are you poppin' a fuckin' tent over here? You fuckin' psycho." For piercing his nose, he will be all, "Ahh, you made me a pouty fuckin' hipster? Ah, oohh." For piercing his ear, Lazlow will say, "Ah! You fuckin' prick. Jesus."
- ◆There are some missable conversations in this mission. These conversations are usually heard if Michael does anything bad. A video of them can be found .
