Arthur arrive à Braithwaite Manor, où Penelope Braithwaite lui apprend qu'elle et Beau Gray comptent quitter leurs familles pour commencer une vie ensemble à Boston. Beau attend à la gare de Rhodes, mais Penelope ne peut pas quitter le manoir sans escorte. Arthur accepte de l'y conduire, chevauchant avec elle hors de Braithwaite Manor et à travers Scarlett Meadows en direction de Rhodes.
À la gare, Penelope retrouve Beau. Elle demande à Arthur de rester avec eux jusqu'au premier arrêt du train, et il achète leurs billets. Avant qu'ils puissent monter à bord, les cousins de Beau, Iain et Scott Gray, reconnaissent le couple et tentent de les arrêter. Arthur se bat contre les deux Gray, puis rejoint Beau et Penelope à bord du train tandis qu'il quitte Rhodes pour Saint Denis.
Des hommes des Braithwaite poursuivent le train, à la recherche d'un objet que Penelope a pris à sa famille. Après l'avoir trouvée avec Beau, ils montent à bord, et Arthur les combat le long des wagons. Le conducteur s'enfuit durant l'attaque, laissant Arthur reprendre le contrôle du train une fois les poursuivants neutralisés. Il le conduit jusqu'à Riggs Station, où Penelope lui offre son bracelet en saphir. Arthur peut l'accepter ou le refuser avant de faire monter Penelope et Beau dans une diligence à destination de Boston.
Anecdotes
- ◆Accepting the bracelet from Penelope will actually increase Arthur's honor rather than decreasing it. This may be due to Arthur fulfilling Hosea Matthews and Sean MacGuire's mission to rob the Braithwaites.
- ◆The bracelet sells for $75, which is approximately $3,028 in 2026.
- ◆Killing Scott or Iain will not fail the mission nor cause the player to lose honor.
- ◆If the player goes to Gertrude Braithwaite while taking Penelope to the train station additional dialogue can be heard.
- ◆During the ride to the station, Penelope will say "You don't know how hard that can be... to say something is wrong, when everyone around you thinks it's right", which could possibly reference the standoff at Beaver Hollow between Arthur, Dutch and Micah in "Red Dead Redemption".
- ◆Despite getting tickets for Saint Denis, the train heads westward and stops at Riggs Station, West Elizabeth, which is a considerably long distance away from its destination.
- ◆For some players, their horse will die in the train segment of the mission. To prevent that from happening, disembark just a little before the destination marker, that way you aren't forced off your horse. Then tell your horse to stay. Save before the mission for good measure. Your horse will spawn at the end station, safe and sound.
