Fist è l'arma Melee che rappresenta un protagonista o personaggio giocabile disarmato in Grand Theft Auto V e Grand Theft Auto Online. È disponibile ogni volta che non viene usata un'altra arma, mantenendo il personaggio apparentemente disarmato nelle aree senza armi. Il danno ridotto e la portata molto breve ne fanno un'opzione di ultima risorsa rispetto alle armi da fuoco e alle armi melee dedicate, anche se gli attacchi possono essere sferrati in rapida successione.

Il combattimento con Fist include pugni, calci, testate e schiaffi. Un avversario colto alla sprovvista può essere messo KO con un sucker punch, mentre un attacco furtivo usa un colpo al collo per renderlo incosciente. Il combattimento a mani nude aumenta anche la forza del personaggio, migliorando gli attacchi melee. I colpi contro i veicoli causano danni, e gli aeromobili sono particolarmente vulnerabili agli impatti ripetuti.

Fist ha anche un uso non legato al combattimento nei veicoli comuni. Se selezionato durante la guida, permette al personaggio di fare un gesto osceno e insultare i pedoni o gli altri guidatori. Brevi provocazioni possono essere accolte con calma, ma insulti prolungati possono spingere i pedoni a fuggire o a tentare di trascinare il personaggio fuori dal veicolo, mentre i guidatori possono allontanarsi a tutta velocità in modo spericolato o inseguirlo.

◆Destroying cars with fists does not attract a wanted level, no matter how many cars the player destroys, even if a cop is killed by a car explosion that is caused by damaging the car with the fists.
◆However, the opposite may happen in Grand Theft Auto IV, as smashing a smoking vehicle can cause the said vehicle to catch fire and eventually explode and attract a wanted level.

◆In The Ballad of Gay Tony and GTA V, there is a cheat that allows the player to have an explosive punch. These explosions are as powerful as the Explosive Shotgun, able to kill someone and destroy vehicles in one to two hits; when playing as Trevor Philips, he can destroy vehicles in one hit at the cost of getting killed unless the invincibility cheat is activated, wherein he will be able to survive explosions.
