Rachel è una grande cavalla Race dal mantello baio scurissimo in Red Dead Redemption 2, con maneggevolezza Race. Ha criniera e coda nere, una stella sulla fronte, zoccoli grigi e due balzane bianche sulle zampe posteriori. La sua velocità è valutata a 6, l'accelerazione a 4, la salute a 4 e la resistenza a 4. Le sue reazioni seguono per il resto quelle degli altri cavalli, variando in base alle circostanze e al suo legame con John Marston.
Rachel appare per la prima volta a Pronghorn Ranch nel 1907, durante il capitolo Pronghorn Ranch. Dopo che John aiuta il ranch a consegnare e recuperare un carro in "The Wheel", si offre di lavorare lì. Tom Dickens gli dice di restare al ranch e John si dirige verso la sua nuova capanna. Rachel lo aspetta fuori dalla capanna al suo arrivo.

- ◆Regardless of the player's decision to keep her or if she dies, Rachel will be seen being brushed by John in the ending credits. This is likely due to an oversight.
- ◆A similar oversight can be observed in "A New Jerusalem", where both John and Jack's horses are replaced by Standard Horses.
- ◆While she can simply be sold or die, it is possible to never interact with Rachel during the game. In order to do this, simply bond with two other horses and she will eventually despawn.
