Vapid Police Cruiser, sıkça Interceptor adıyla anılan, dört kişilik dört kapılı büyük bir Emergency sedandır. Los Santos Police Department'in siyah beyaz boyasını, yanlarda büyük "POLICE" yazılarını, tavanda birim numarasını ve kırmızı mavi LED tepe lambasını taşır. A sütununa takılı projektör uzun farlarla çalışır, ancak çarpışmada kopabilir. Kabinde telsiz, silah bağlantıları ve ön koltuklarla arka koltukları ayıran çelik tel bölme bulunur.

Tasarımı esas olarak Ford Police Interceptor Sedan'dan alınmıştır. Işıkların düzeni ile sirenlerin konumu ise başka bir polis sedanı tasarımından esinlenir. Far yuvaları ve yanlardaki yazılar bir konsept araçtan etkiler taşırken, arka lambalar başka bir modelinkileri andırır. Yan profil ve arka direk, 2008-2014 Acura TSX ile 2006-2012 Ford Fusion'dan da unsurlar alır. Krom göbek kapaklı siyah jantları FIB Buffalo ile ortaktır.

Police Cruiser, LSPD'nin temel takip aracıdır. Los Santos'ta devriye gezer, Mission Row ve Legion Square çevresinde görülür, ayrıca Mission Row Police Station ve Bolingbroke Penitentiary dahil şehirdeki polis tesislerinde bulunur. Aranma seviyelerinde sıkça müdahaleye gelir, suçluları takip eder ve 911 üzerinden polis çağrısından sonra ulaşabilir. GTA Online'da Los Santos International Airport çevresinde de çıkar. Arkadan itişli dört silindirli motoru ve beş vitesli şanzımanı, çoğu sedana göre iyi hızlanma, frenleme ve yol tutuş sağlar, fakat özellikle ön tekerleklerin çevresinde kolayca hasar görür ve şekli bozulur.

◆Killing the driver of the Police Cruiser will cause a normal car horn to blare, instead of the usual police horn. This appears to be the case with all police vehicles.
◆Prior to the Heists update, the player could change the "livery" of the Police Cruiser in the Content Creator. The only visible changes were the roof numbers. After the update, this feature was removed. The default number is always 32.
◆In the original PS3/Xbox 360 version of the game, the on-board computer inside the Police Cruiser features the LCPD database screen.
◆The Police Cruiser features unused customization options, including several hood, front and rear bumper, skirts and pushbar options. As most police vehicles cannot be modified at Los Santos Customs or other mod shops, they cannot be normally obtained.
