War Horse هي فئة خيول في Red Dead Redemption 2، صُممت حول المتانة بدلا من التسارع السريع. تُدرج بمعطف Silver dapple black وتقييم سرعة قدره 65. تتمتع War Horses بسرعة وتسارع أقل من كثير من فئات الخيول الأخرى، لكن صحتها وقدرتها على التحمل أفضل من المتوسط. تستخدمها اللعبة كخيول قوية قادرة على تحمل السقوط والقتال بسهولة أكبر من الخيول الأسرع.
تتيح مكافأة الطلب المسبق لإصدار Ultimate Edition، أو رمز يتم الحصول عليه بشكل منفصل، ظهور Iron Grey Roan Ardennes بعد أن يصل Arthur Morgan إلى Chapter 2 ويرافق Hosea Matthews في "Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego." يظهر هذا Ardennes ضمن خيول Valentine stable ويمكن الحصول عليه دون مقابل. وهو War Horse يتمتع بصحة وقدرة تحمل الفئة الأقوى.
