Turkoman هي سلالة خيول متوسطة في Red Dead Redemption 2 وRed Dead Online. تجمع بين فئتَي Race وWar، بهيكل رشيق وخفيف الحركة وفراء أملس. تمنحها طريقة التحكم Standard استجابة وخفة حركة معتدلتين، رغم أنها قد تكون نافدة الصبر.
بوصفها خليطاً من Race وWar، تتمتع Turkoman بسمات إجمالية أقوى من السلالات الأخرى. تتميز بسرعة عالية وقدرة تحمّل جيدة وصحة ممتازة، ما يجعلها مطية متوازنة لمعظم المواقف. يقع أداؤها بين سرعة حصان السباق والمتانة المتوقعة من حصان الحرب.
يمكن شراء خيول Turkomans من الإسطبلات. الألوان العادية هي Dark Bay وGold وSilver، بينما تضم Red Dead Online أيضاً نسخ Black وChestnut وGrey وPerlino. يمتطي Hosea Matthews حصان Silver Turkoman المسمى Silver Dollar، الذي يبقى في معسكر العصابة ويمكن شراؤه من إسطبلات Tumbleweed في الخاتمة. وتمتطي Sadie Adler حصان Gold Dapple Turkoman المسمى Bob في المعسكر ابتداءً من Clemens Point. خلال "Horse Flesh for Dinner"، يسرق Arthur Morgan وJavier Escuella وJohn Marston حصان Dark Bay Turkoman المسمى Cerberus من آل Braithwaites.

- ◆The ancient Turkoman breed was long since considered extinct by the period in which the game is set (there is an endangered horse breed called "Turkemin" in modern-day Iran, but it might not be the original Turkoman breed). However, the breed is survived by descendant breeds such as the Akhal-Teke, the Yomud, the Goklan and the Nokhorli , and, through some of its male lines, the Thoroughbred. The Akhal-Teke often have distinctly metallic coats like the horses depicted in-game. Some claim that the Akhal-Teke and the Turkoman are the same breed. Some of the foundation stallions of the Thoroughbred breed were probably Turkomans or their direct descendants.
- ◆The Dark Bay Turkoman and the Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Fox Trotter are the only two horses whose coat colors that are supposed to only be available in the Epilogue but are also completely obtainable in the main story.
