Turkoman представляет собой породу лошадей среднего размера в Red Dead Redemption 2 и Red Dead Online. Она сочетает классы Race и War, отличается стройным, проворным сложением и гладкой шерстью. Управление Standard даёт умеренную отзывчивость и ловкость, хотя лошадь может проявлять нетерпение.
Как помесь лошади классов Race и War, Turkoman обладает более высокими общими характеристиками, чем другие породы. Он быстро скачет, хорошо держит выносливость и имеет отличное здоровье, поэтому подходит для большинства ситуаций. В этой лошади сочетаются скорость скакуна и выносливость боевой породы.
Turkoman можно купить в конюшнях. Обычные масти представлены вариантами Dark Bay, Gold и Silver, а в Red Dead Online есть также Black, Chestnut, Grey и Perlino. Hosea Matthews ездит на серебристом Turkoman по кличке Silver Dollar, который находится в лагере банды, а в эпилоге продаётся в конюшнях Tumbleweed. Sadie Adler с главы в Clemens Point ездит в лагере на Gold Dapple Turkoman по кличке Bob. - ◆The ancient Turkoman breed was long since considered extinct by the period in which the game is set (there is an endangered horse breed called "Turkemin" in modern-day Iran, but it might not be the original Turkoman breed). However, the breed is survived by descendant breeds such as the Akhal-Teke, the Yomud, the Goklan and the Nokhorli , and, through some of its male lines, the Thoroughbred. The Akhal-Teke often have distinctly metallic coats like the horses depicted in-game. Some claim that the Akhal-Teke and the Turkoman are the same breed. Some of the foundation stallions of the Thoroughbred breed were probably Turkomans or their direct descendants.
- ◆The Dark Bay Turkoman and the Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Fox Trotter are the only two horses whose coat colors that are supposed to only be available in the Epilogue but are also completely obtainable in the main story.
