Boadicea ist ein nicht zu sehendes Pferd in Red Dead Redemption 2 und als Arthur Morgans Reittier bekannt, bevor die Van der Linde gang Colter erreicht. Arthur erwirbt sie irgendwann vor dieser Reise und hängt sehr an ihr. Später beschreibt er Boadicea als "wirklich ein tolles Pferd", und seine Erinnerungen machen deutlich, dass sie für ihn mehr als nur ein vorübergehendes Reittier war.
Arthur verliert Boadicea vor den Ereignissen in Colter, wobei die Umstände ihres Verlusts nicht geschildert werden. Ohne sie leiht er sich für eine Zeit Taima. Taima ist nur ein vorübergehender Ersatz, und Arthur bekommt bald ein anderes Pferd, nachdem er Boadicea verloren hat.
Hosea Matthews fragt Arthur später, ob er Ersatz gefunden habe. Arthur sagt, sein neues Pferd sei in Ordnung, aber es sei keine Boadicea. Boadicea erscheint im Spiel nie persönlich, doch Arthurs Bemerkungen zeigen die Bindung, die sie vor Beginn der Handlung teilten.

- ◆There is much speculation as to what Boadicea looked like and what breed of horse she was.
- ◆One popular theory suggests that she is the cut Liver Chestnut Hungarian Half-bred, as the horse possesses high stats and the horse's color and breed would fit the description of what is most likely her namesake: Boudica, the red-haired Celt queen who was famous for her prowess in war.
- ◆However, datamining has found that the Liver Chestnut Hungarian Half-bred was intended to be ridden by Alfredo Montez in Red Dead Online. Despite this, it is still an unfounded possibility that the horse was originally intended to be Boadicea, but was scrapped, and then repurposed for Montez only to be scrapped again.
- ◆Another theory suggests that she is the bareback horse who stares at Arthur with perked up ears in his journal drawing of Blackwater during the prologue.
- ◆This is further supported by the fact that Arthur will draw every unique breed of horse he rides in his journal, with this being the only horse he draws prior to Colter.
- ◆Boadicea's fate is currently unknown, but given as Arthur refers to her only in the past tense, it's speculated that she had been killed during the course of the Blackwater Massacre.
- ◆In camp, there is an item called "Arthur's horseshoe" which appears hanging next to photos of Lyle, Dutch, Hosea, and Copper and due to the sentimental nature of most items at Arthur's tent, it is unconfirmed but possible that it belonged to Boadicea.
