Triathlon

After Daddy's Little Girl, Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton or Trevor Philips can enter the Vespucci Beach Triathlon on Vespucci Beach. Each race begins with the contestants in the water and follows a course through three legs: swimming, cycling and running. The chosen protagonist races the other competitors through checkpoints, changing from the swim to a bicycle and then continuing on foot to the finish.

Completing the Vespucci event opens the Alamo Sea Triathlon on Seaview Road in Grapeseed. Michael, Franklin and Trevor can each take part once it is available, regardless of who completed the earlier race. The event again moves from open-water swimming to cycling and a final run, with the protagonist competing against the field across the Alamo Sea area.

Finishing the Grapeseed race opens the Coyote Cross Country Triathlon at Marina Drive on the south shore of the Alamo Sea in Sandy Shores. It is the longest of the three events, carrying the selected protagonist through its swim, bicycle and running sections before the course reaches its finish. A protagonist who completes the triathlon series receives a Triathlon outfit in his wardrobe.
