Trivia
- โThe original development name for the airfield was "Alamo Sea Airfield". This name can still be heard mentioned by characters in early missions. This is further referenced in the mission Caida Libre, when the pilot states that he can't make a landing at the "Alamo Sea Airfield".
- โThe airfield is similar to the Verdant Meadows Airfield from GTA San Andreas, both being located in a desert and owned by a protagonist (CJ and Trevor respectively).
- โDespite being called an airfield, the location is referred to by Weazel News as a "local airport" in their report after Nervous Ron.
- โLarge planes such as the Shamal, Luxor, and the Luxor Deluxe are too large to be stored in the airfield's hangar. Instead, such planes will spawn on the runway if selected by the player.
- โIn the Xbox360/PS3 version, If you take a helicopter and hard land on the roof of the main hanger, the helicopter will glitch in the middle and eventually explode
