Player notes
After "Mr. Philips", Maude Eccles sends Trevor an email about her first bail jumper, Ralph Ostrowski. The message includes Ostrowski's mugshot and an image identifying the area where he is hiding. Maude wants the fugitive found after he skips bail, and Trevor takes up the search for her.
Trevor follows Maude's clue to Davis Quartz, southeast of Sandy Shores. Ostrowski is alone at the quarry. When Trevor approaches, Ralph tries to get away, potentially making for a Landstalker. Trevor closes in before the fugitive can disappear from the area.
Trevor stops Ostrowski and decides how to settle Maude's assignment. Ralph can be subdued and taken back alive for Maude, or killed at Davis Quartz. If Trevor captures him, he delivers the restrained fugitive to Maude's trailer, completing the first Bail Bonds job.
Trivia
- โDespite them all being Strangers & Freaks, only the introduction mission (Special Bonds) is listed as one on the GTA V checklist found on the Rockstar Games website, with the four bail bonds being listed as Hobbies and Pastimes.
- โIn the game's gameplay trailer, Trevor can be seen shoving Ralph into Maude's trailer. This most likely means capturing the targets is canon, instead of killing them.
