Player notes
After Rampage: Rednecks, Trevor reaches Jamestown Street in East Los Santos, where two Los Santos Vagos are talking together in Spanish. They notice his accent and ask where he is from. Trevor takes offence at the question and at their reaction to him. He closes in on one of the gang members, tears a machine pistol from his hands and turns the encounter into another Rampage.
Trevor opens fire on the Vagos around Jamestown Street. Gang members answer with gunfire as the fight spreads through the East Los Santos block, forcing Trevor to keep moving among the street traffic and nearby buildings. More Vagos join the attack, and Trevor uses the machine pistol he seized to cut through the group while the confrontation continues at close range.
The gunfight carries on through Jamestown Street as Trevor faces the remaining Los Santos Vagos. Vehicles pass through the area and gang members continue to come at him from along the block. Once the assault has run its course, the shooting dies down in East Los Santos, with Trevor left on Jamestown Street.
Trivia
- โIn addition to the default weapon, Trevor is given 25 grenades, which he can use to destroy vehicles. Only Rampage Four includes an Assault Rifle as a secondary weapon.
- โIf there are any active grenades on the ground when the timer expires, they will disappear without exploding.
- โWhen a rampage ends, the targets of the rampage will immediately cease attacking and flee the area scared, including the Marines in rampage four. There are usually no further consequences, such as gaining a wanted level, once the rampage mission ends, gameplay will resume as normal.
- โTwo rampages have some special vehicles:
- โIn the fourth rampage, a topless Crusader can be obtained as long as the player doesn't destroy it.
- โAfter completing the fifth Rampage, the Fixter bicycle will spawn, which is the only way to get it.
- โDue to a glitch, even if a weapon has a silencer (seen also in cutscenes), when the rampage starts, the silencer disappears. Once the rampage ends, the silencer will be back.
- โWith every fifth enemy the player kills, an eerie, wailing cry will be heard. These "wails" are actually re-used sound files from the DLC for Red Dead Redemption.
- โHeadshots also trigger a special sound effect: a distorted guitar strum.
