- ◆Chuparosa is another name for Justicia californica, a species of flowering shrub native to the deserts of southern California, Arizona, and northern Mexico. It's also a colloquial name for hummingbirds.
- ◆It is the only major town/settlement that has no stagecoach taxi.
- ◆After completion of the Abraham Reyes mission, "The Gates of El Presidio", the town will occasionally be attacked by bandits and Mexican lawmen and soldiers until "An Appointed Time".
