Legendary Boar "Oryx" is a legendary animal in Red Dead Redemption 2. It is a notably large boar with light brown hair, distinct from the giant boar encountered during "The Veteran". As an omnivore, it feeds on amphibians, reptiles, insects, worms and smaller mammals. Hunting it yields a Legendary Boar Tusk, a Legendary Boar Pelt, Tender Pork Loin and Animal Fat.
Oryx lives in Bluewater Marsh, Lemoyne. Its territory lies northeast of Lagras, close to the eastern edge of the Kamassa River. A rifle is listed for a clean kill, while a Bow with Poison Arrows is also suited to the hunt. Like other legendary animals, it provides a clean pelt or skin regardless of the weapon used.
The Legendary Boar Pelt is taken to the Trapper for the Legendary Boar & Bison Fowlers and the Legendary Beaver Flop Hat. It is also required to complete The Dreamcatcher outfit. The Legendary Boar Tusk can be brought to a Fence, who uses it to craft the Boar Tusk Talisman.
