Josie Dawson is an American saloon owner who runs the Old Light Saloon at Van Horn Trading Post. Her work keeps her at the bar, serving the people who come through the settlement. She carries a Sawed-Off Shotgun, though her role in the story centres on the saloon and its business rather than on gunfights.
In Red Dead Online, Josie meets Marshal Tom Davies at a house near the Van Horn stables. She tells Davies and the posse with him that the Del Lobos have seized control of the Old Light Saloon. The report brings Davies and the posse into her trouble at Van Horn.
By the time of Red Dead Redemption 2, Josie is again found behind the counter of the Old Light Saloon. She tends the bar and pours drinks for its customers at Van Horn Trading Post. Her appearances end with her continuing to run the saloon.
