Saint Denis Police Department

The Saint Denis Police Department is the law enforcement agency of Saint Denis, Bayou Nwa, operating across the city in Lemoyne. Benjamin Lambert leads the department as chief of police. Its known officers include Henry Jenkins and Terapin, and it is connected to Mayor Henri Lemieux and the Saint Denis Mob. The department remains active in 1907.

Arthur Morgan encounters Saint Denis police as the Van der Linde gang begins moving through the city. Officers watch streets and public buildings, patrol on foot and horseback, and work in pairs throughout Saint Denis. Their blue coats, black trousers, white gloves and helmets or peaked hats set them apart from the lawmen encountered elsewhere in Lemoyne.

When crime breaks out, officers use whistles to summon nearby police and move civilians away from danger. They respond with revolvers, pistols, repeaters and shotguns, including more modern weapons such as the Semi-Automatic Pistol and Mauser Pistol. The department can send marked wagons carrying officers, and in serious situations deploy a wagon fitted with a Maxim Gun, within Saint Denis or in the surrounding area.
