Foreman Brothers

The Foreman Brothers, also called the Foreman Boys, are an African-American outlaw gang led by Anthony Foreman. Their known members include Anthony's cousin Malcolm Foreman and, for a time, Tilly Jackson. Before joining the Van der Linde gang, Tilly lives with the Foremans for years and suffers abuse. She kills Malcolm after he makes unwanted advances towards her, then escapes. Anthony treats Malcolm's death as a betrayal and continues to pursue her.

The gang enters the story in Valentine, where Anthony finds Tilly and harasses her in the street. Arthur Morgan steps between them, prompting Anthony to leave while Arthur and Tilly are left to deal with the encounter. After the Van der Linde gang moves into Shady Belle, Anthony's men find Tilly again. They take her from the camp and carry her off to Radley's House, an isolated property near Rhodes.

Susan Grimshaw tells Arthur that Tilly has been taken, and the pair ride to Radley's House to retrieve her. They kill the men guarding the house and free Tilly, then learn that Anthony and two others have gone hunting. Arthur and Susan catch the group, kill Anthony's remaining companions and take Anthony alive back to Tilly. His fate is decided there. By 1907, the Foreman Brothers have disbanded.
