Watson Boys

Mama Watson leads the Watson Boys, an outlaw family based at Watson's Cabin in Big Valley, West Elizabeth. Her sons are Elijah, Ethan, Edgar and Ezra Watson. Arthur Morgan first finds Mama alone at the cabin. The encounter can end with Arthur speaking to her, robbing her or killing her, leaving the family's fate dependent on what happens there.

When Arthur returns, the four brothers are gathered in the cabin. If Mama is dead, they know he killed her and confront him with their guns, although Ethan often remains inside. If she survived, Mama berates her sons when Elijah asks to move her somewhere else with their money. She still recognizes Arthur as the earlier intruder, and the brothers attack him.

After the confrontation, Arthur can find a torn scrapbook page on a table. If Mama survives the fight, he later finds her dead in her bed. If she dies during either visit, a grave appears beside the cabin, where Arthur makes a bitter remark about her death. Should John Marston first visit the cabin in the Epilogue, Mama is already dead in her bed.
