Nell IV is Uncle's medium Work horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. She has the Few Spot Buckskin coat and Standard handling. Her speed, acceleration and health are each rated at 3, while her stamina is rated at 4. Within the Work class, she is a steady horse with more stamina than her other listed attributes.
In 1907, Uncle rides Nell IV from Blackwater Bank during Home of the Gentry? as he follows John Marston to Beecher's Hope. He later uses her in Saint Denis after John rescues Charles Smith. Nell IV also works beside Falmouth when the pair pull down the shack at Beecher's Hope, before Uncle rides away on her to take care of errands.
Nell IV is Uncle's mount through these appearances and is used in the work around Beecher's Hope. After that outing, Uncle only rides her again in a random encounter at the Blackwater Saloon. In 1907, she can be found outside the barn at Beecher's Hope, or near Uncle.
Trivia
- โDue to the absence of a Nell III, it's likely a mount by that name died or was lost by Uncle prior to 1907.
- โAlthough the stat card lists her as an Appaloosa, she has the body of a Suffolk Punch. While it's possible the model was chosen in order to make her appear overweight, she could also be a cross-breed between the two.
