Brothers and Sisters, One and All

Arthur arrives at a small Saint Denis church, where Brother Dorkins and Sister Calderón are teaching street children to read. Brother Dorkins introduces Arthur to Sister Calderón, but their conversation is interrupted when one of the children takes her crucifix and flees. Arthur gives chase through Saint Denis until he finds the boy held by a man who accuses him of trying to steal his watch. Arthur intimidates the man into releasing the child.

The boy thanks Arthur, drops Sister Calderón's crucifix, and runs away. As Arthur picks it up, he encounters Edith Downes. Edith, now working as a prostitute, first mistakes Arthur for a customer, then recognises him. Distressed by the encounter, she calls to a nearby lawman and claims that Arthur is harassing her. Arthur escapes the Saint Denis lawmen who pursue him.

Once the law is no longer searching for him, Arthur returns to Sister Calderón. He finds her speaking with a priest at the Saint Denis cathedral and gives back the crucifix. Sister Calderón thanks Arthur for recovering it.
