Midnight's Pistol

Midnight's Pistol is a rare Mauser Pistol in Red Dead Redemption 2. Its gold-plated engraving and black wooden grip set it apart from standard pistols. The weapon belonged to Billy Midnight, the gunslinger whose name is attached to it, and it remains a fixed unique weapon that cannot be customized.

Arthur Morgan obtains Midnight's Pistol during "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman". Billy Midnight is confronted and defeated in a duel aboard a train leaving Rhodes, after which his pistol can be taken. It is tied to that encounter rather than being sold through a gunsmith or found as an ordinary weapon elsewhere.

As a pistol, Midnight's Pistol uses Pistol Ammo. It holds ten rounds and can carry up to 200 rounds of ammunition. Its role is that of a personal sidearm, retaining the appearance and ownership of Billy Midnight while providing a Mauser Pistol for Arthur's weapon selection.
