Notas del jugador

Michael De Santa visita a Solomon Richards en Richards Majestic Productions, en Backlot City. Solomon le explica que Meltdown se ha detenido: su estrella, Milton McIlroy, exige más dinero a través de su nuevo agente, Rocco Pelosi, y el director Anton Beaudelaire ha sufrido una crisis y se niega a trabajar. Solomon le pide a Michael que haga que ambos vuelvan a la película. Michael acepta y se dirige al edificio de East Los Santos donde Rocco tiene a Milton y Anton.

Durante el trayecto, Solomon advierte a Michael que Rocco espera problemas y sacará a los dos de allí si detecta a un intruso. En el edificio, un Frogger aterriza en la azotea mientras Rocco les dice a Milton y Anton que pronto se marcharán. Michael entra sin levantar sospechas, se abre paso entre los trabajadores y llega al helipuerto. Allí se encuentra con Gianni, y Rocco reaparece acompañado de otro hombre. Rocco aparta al pistolero y se enfrenta él mismo a Michael. Michael derrota a Rocco y toma el Frogger con Milton y Anton a bordo.

Michael les dice a Milton y Anton que Solomon los necesita de vuelta en Meltdown, pero ninguno quiere regresar. Pilota el Frogger de forma temeraria sobre Los Santos hasta que el actor y el director, aterrados, cambian de opinión. Michael los lleva de vuelta a Richards Majestic Productions, donde aceptan retomar el trabajo. Después va al despacho de Solomon. Solomon le ofrece el puesto de Associate Producer de la película, y Michael lo acepta.

Curiosidades

  • ◆This mission is similar to Fender Ketchup where the player must scare Johnny Sindacco and Rollercoaster Ride in which the player must scare Jane Hopper, a union boss. However both of them are purely about scaring a single individual in a land vehicle.
  • ◆Two workers at the club can be heard talking about how Rocco would burn down the club to collect the insurance money to benefit him. This is a reference as to how Rocco wanted to burn down Hercules and Maisonette 9 to collect the insurance money during the events of The Ballad of Gay Tony.
  • ◆Rocco's project of transforming the warehouse into a night club is first mentioned in a news article from the Daily Rag after the mission By the Book.
  • ◆Once the opening cutscene is finished, a black Coquette will appear in the parking lot just outside of Solomon's office. It can be used to drive to Milton and Anton's location. If the car is taken, there is a chance for it to appear at the impound garage at the Mission Row Police Station after the mission is finished, retrievable from there for $250.
  • ◆The subtitles say that "Anton and Milton are meant to be there", but Solomon says "supposed to be there".
  • ◆This was fixed in the enhanced versions of the game. However, couple of lines back, subtitles say "realied", while in the previous edition it was correctly spelled as "realized".
  • ◆If the player attempts to pull a gun during the fight, Rocco will stop fighting and berate the player for using such cowardly methods. Shooting him will fail the mission.
  • ◆This is because Rocco will appear in a later storyline mission and thus, if he is killed right here, it would cause a continuity error.
  • ◆The gold medal requirement "Can't touch this 2.0" is also present in the mission Complications (albeit without the "2.0" part). In both missions, Michael has to fight someone in hand-to-hand combat, and the aforementioned gold medal requirements require him to do so without taking damage.
  • ◆It is possible to reclaim the Frogger after the mission. If Michael's segment of the Vespucci Helipad is purchased before the mission starts, the chopper can be flown to the helipad and stored there once the mission is finished.
