Los bueyes son reses domésticas de la especie Bos taurus en Red Dead Redemption 2 y Red Dead Online. Hay bueyes Angus y Devon, y ambas razas cuentan con variantes de toro. Son grandes herbívoros que comen hierba, heno y ensilado, por lo general alojados con las vacas en los corrales. En ocasiones, un ranchero conduce a uno por los pastos cercanos o por un camino.
Aparecen en ranchos y granjas de Butcher Creek, Braithwaite Manor, Caliga Hall, Downes Ranch, Emerald Ranch, Guthrie Farm y Hill Haven Ranch. Un buey puede volverse agresivo si alguien entra en su corral o choca con él. Cuando se enfurece, intenta embestir a su objetivo, y los rancheros pueden reaccionar con hostilidad si matan a un animal de su propiedad.
Un buey proporciona Ox Hide, Ox Horn y Prime Beef. La piel y los cuernos se emplean para fabricar objetos. Como son animales enormes, desollarlos lleva más tiempo que desollar presas pequeñas.
