Wade envoie un message à Trevor Philips pour lui dire qu'il a trouvé un mini-sous-marin sur les quais. Trevor se rend au Port of Los Santos, où un Submersible jaune est suspendu au cargo Daisy Lee, à Terminal. Il en a besoin pour l'approche que Trevor a choisie pour l'opération Merryweather. Depuis Plaice Place, Trevor trouve un moyen de faire descendre l'engin, soit en montant à bord du cargo et en libérant ses attaches depuis les commandes, soit en coupant les câbles de soutien depuis l'extérieur du navire.
Une fois le Submersible tombé à l'eau, Trevor nage jusqu'à lui et grimpe à l'intérieur. Il le pilote à travers le port jusqu'au point d'extraction, où Floyd Hebert l'attend avec une grue. Floyd soulève le mini-sous-marin hors de l'eau et le dépose sur un semi-remorque à plateau. Trevor et Floyd arriment l'engin à la remorque avant de quitter ensemble le front de mer à bord du camion.
Trevor conduit le camion chargé à travers le Port of Los Santos jusqu'à un entrepôt. Floyd reste avec lui pour la livraison tandis que le Submersible est entreposé en vue du braquage prévu. Trevor s'arrête à l'entrepôt et descend du camion.

Anecdotes
- ◆This is the only heist set-up mission to appear in both Option A and B of a heist set-up.
- ◆This mission is one of the first instances in the game where Dolphins can be observed. Several will usually take interest in the Submersible, and can be identified by their calls.
- ◆It is possible to unhook the trailer from the Packer and grab a different truck to pull the trailer. However, during the Merryweather Heist, the same Packer used to pull the Submersible will appear instead of the different truck the player used earlier.
- ◆If the player skips the cutscene of the Submersible being loaded, the crane will not be there.
- ◆It is also possible to let the cutscene play as normal, then driving away and returning back to where the vehicle is loaded. The crane will not be there, but the steel cable can be seen floating mid-air.
- ◆During the mission, the Submersible stays on the trailer and will not move unless by hard collisions. However, after finishing the mission, if the player attempts to take the trailer (pushing the truck until it is detached with another semi-truck), it may cause the sub to shake violently to the point it explodes.
- ◆Rarely, the sub will disappear, but the truck and the trailer will not.
