L'Arabian est une race de cheval de classe Superior dotée d'une maniabilité Elite dans Red Dead Redemption 2. C'est un cheval extrêmement petit, avec le profil concave, l'arrière-train fin et le port de queue relevé associés aux chevaux arabes. Son apparence évoque un type ancien d'Arabian plutôt que la forme moderne issue d'une sélection intensive. Les Arabians sont généralement associés à de riches propriétaires, et leurs réactions rapides ainsi que leur agilité les distinguent des autres chevaux de leur classe.
Les Arabians allient une santé et une endurance élevées à une bonne vitesse et accélération, ce qui les rend adaptés aux longs trajets. Leur réactivité leur confère une agilité supérieure à celle de nombreux autres chevaux, bien que certains individus soient nerveux. La race est utilisée comme cheval d'endurance. Dutch van der Linde monte un Arabian à la robe Albino nommé The Count en 1899, un cheval qui accepte Dutch mais désarçonne les autres cavaliers.
Les Arabians apparaissent comme chevaux sauvages et de passage. Le White Arabian vit seul sur la rive nord-ouest enneigée de Lake Isabella, dans Grizzlies West. D'autres robes sont vendues dans les écuries : le Black Arabian devient disponible au Saint Denis Stable après le Chapter 4, tandis que le Rose Gray Bay Arabian est vendu au Blackwater Stable durant l'Epilogue. Les chevaux des Braithwaite, Old Faithful et Old Father Time, sont des Arabians pris lors de "Horse Flesh for Dinner".

- ◆NPCs will give compliments to the player's horse if the horse is of this breed.
- ◆The Warped Brindle and Story Mode Red Chestnut Arabians were added during the game's launch on PC.
- ◆There is a random encounter in Saint Denis or Blackwater featuring a black Arabian that can be taken by the player. After dark, a couple will be robbed and depending on the outcome, the man will either flee on his horse (if his wife was shot), or leave on foot with his wife (if the player kills the robber before he shoots the woman), leaving the horse hitched nearby. The player can steal this horse without any consequences if they neutralize the robber after he points his gun at the woman (if the player kills him before that, or just takes the horse without interfering, they will lose honor and become wanted ).
- ◆Horses from random encounters will always be female. The wild White Arabian will also always spawn as a mare, unlike any other wild horse, that can be either a mare or a stallion, same as a horse acquired from a stable (in Red Dead Online players can choose the sex of horses they buy).
- ◆In Red Dead Online, the Black Arabian, at the price of 42 gold, is the second most expensive gold-exclusive purchase in the whole game, only behind the Black Tovero Missouri Fox Trotter.
- ◆Before starting the mission "If the Hat Fits...", there will be two Rose Gray Bay Arabians with their manes dyed black that the player cannot take. They will be switched out during the cutscene.
- ◆The telegram mission "A One Horse Deal" will feature either a White Arabian at Emerald Ranch and a Rose Grey Bay Arabian at MacFarlane's.
- ◆It is never explicitly stated that these are purebred Arabians, but purebred Arabians were ludicrously rare in the United States at the time and as such would not have been anywhere near as prominent. While the breed's overall build and face shape may seem like an error at first glance, this is not necessarily true. Modern Arabians look drastically different than they generally would have looked in 1899 due to heavy selective breeding over the past century.
- ◆The Black Arabian has a star and snip.
- ◆The White Arabian is a fully depigmented greying horse, and is likely referred to as "white" because this is the term most common folk would've used at the time. Unlike true white horses, grays will gradually become white as they age and often become speckled after they lose all the pigment in their fur.
- ◆The Speckled White Arabian essentially represents what the White Arabian might start to look like as time went on. Both have socks and stars, something that should not be clearly visible on fully depigmented grey horses.
- ◆The Albino Arabian is likely referred to as such because this is the term most people would've used at the time, despite it being entirely impossible for horses to be albino. While he shows characteristics of a cremello minus the freckles, purebred Arabians cannot be cremello and as such if he were a purebred he could still be dominant white, a grayed out extensive sabino, or he could have been affected by vitiligo on the skin that is exposed. He also has pink hooves, which is unrealistic.
- ◆The Red Chestnut Arabians are actually Blood Bays, as can be told by their black points. While the Story Mode version has no markings, the Online version has a blaze and four socks. They do not have eyelashes, and the Story Mode version has purple hooves which is unrealistic.
- ◆The Rose Gray Bay was based off a greying chestnut, but has black points due to sharing a texture with other horses- thereby indicating the silver gene and a heavily sun-bleached mane and tail. They have four socks, a blaze, and fuchsia hooves which would be unrealistic.
- ◆The Warped Brindle Arabian is based off a one-of-a-kind horse displaying a visible somatic mutation that looks similar to Brindle, and is otherwise dark bay with two socks and a star while seemingly displaying minor sooty characteristics.
- ◆The Gray Arabian reuses the texture from a roan and as such features a lighter body and the same star. However, this is an issue as the gray gene is known to override roaning- horses that would display both are known to gray out at their face and legs first, not the other way around.
- ◆The Count originally had brown eyes as seen in various pre-release material. He also had partially pigmented skin at one point, and Dutch is seen riding a black and gray horse instead of him in other pre-release material.
