La Canis Seminole è un SUV di medie dimensioni a quattro porte, con spazio per quattro occupanti. Il suo stile riprende vari SUV reali, combinando un grande paraurti tubolare con cornice cromata, una griglia a rete, fari sdoppiati e ampi passaruota. Le finiture inferiori nere, le scritte "4x4 OFFROAD" sulle portiere e il semplice posteriore squadrato le conferiscono un aspetto da fuoristrada convenzionale. Condivide gli interni con la Cavalcade e la Granger, mentre le ruote sono condivise con la Primo.
In Grand Theft Auto V, le Seminole compaiono nei dintorni del villaggio sull'Alamo Sea a nord di Sandy Shores, su Senora Way presso la RON Alternates Wind Farm e lungo la Great Ocean Highway. Si trovano anche nelle strade settentrionali di Sandy Shores, sulla Olympic Freeway e, più raramente, a Paleto Bay. In Grand Theft Auto Online, sono comuni nei pressi di LSIA. Southern San Andreas Super Autos vendeva la Seminole a $30,000 durante l'aggiornamento Heists, sebbene sia stata rimossa dal sito nelle versioni migliorate con l'aggiornamento San Andreas Mercenaries. La Seminole è un SUV a trazione integrale con una velocità nella media della categoria e una sensazione di pesantezza e lentezza in accelerazione normale, anche se accelera più rapidamente della Cavalcade e della Baller. - ◆The car's name is a play on its real-life counterpart, as both the Cherokee and the Seminole are Native American tribes in the southeastern United States.
- ◆The description on Southern San Andreas Super Autos mentions that the Seminole "was derived from a signature car model and encased in a flimsy bodywork". This may be a nod to the origins of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was built as a successor to the Jeep Cherokee (XJ) and used an unibody chassis (opposed to the body-on-frame construction).
- ◆This vehicle does not have reverse lights, just like many other cars in the game.
- ◆Strangely, the vehicle does not have any B-pillars, like the Serrano. This can be noticed quite easily when both doors from one side of the car are removed. This was most likely a developer's oversight.
- ◆In the center of the rear floor, there is a floor mat with the word DF8-90 printed on it, likely a reused asset from the car of the same name.
- ◆The Vehicles.meta file indicates that the Seminole was at one point able to tow small trailers. However, it lacks the tow hitch dummy to do so. The same applies to the Rancher XL and the BeeJay XL.
