Lo Sniper Rifle è un'arma a otturatore girevole-scorrevole prodotta da Shrewsbury, appartenente alla categoria dei fucili di precisione. In Grand Theft Auto V e Grand Theft Auto Online, il suo design si basa sull'Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, in particolare sulla variante AW-F con calcio pieghevole. Presenta rotaie Picatinny sulla parte superiore e laterale, e contiene dieci colpi. I danni e la gittata indicati sono elevati, mentre la cadenza di fuoco è bassa.
Trevor riceve gratuitamente uno Sniper Rifle durante una delle sue prime missioni. Un altro fucile gratuito si trova accanto a uno dei telescopi del Galileo Observatory. L'arma può montare un Suppressor e uno Scope migliorato, con l'ingrandimento determinato dall'ottica installata. Sono disponibili anche Black Tint, Army Tint e LSPD Tint.
Il fucile è progettato per i colpi dalla distanza e, con il Suppressor montato, può essere usato silenziosamente a lungo raggio. Rimane un'arma a otturatore, quindi la sua cadenza di tiro e la velocità di ricarica lo rendono meno adatto agli scontri rapidi rispetto ai fucili più veloci. I colpi al corpo infliggono danni gravi, ma gli avversari corazzati possono resistervi più efficacemente, e le auto richiedono molti colpi. Un colpo piazzato correttamente può attraversare bersagli molto vicini tra loro ed eliminarne più di uno contemporaneamente.
