A Horseshoe Overlook, Susan Grimshaw dice ad Arthur Morgan che John Marston lo sta cercando e lo sta aspettando vicino a un albero.
Arthur incontra John, che gli dice che Uncle ha passato loro una soffiata su una rapina al treno, trovata da Mary-Beth durante una visita a Valentine. Arthur inizialmente è restio a impegnarsi. John spiega che un carro petrolifero potrebbe essere piazzato sui binari, costringendo il treno a fermarsi, e Arthur approva il piano.
