Il Cattleman Revolver è un revolver a sei colpi in Red Dead Redemption 2 e Red Dead Online. È un'arma secondaria comune e versatile, progettata per combattimenti a distanza ravvicinata e media anziché per una potenza eccezionale sulle lunghe distanze. Contiene sei colpi, può trasportare fino a 400 colpi di Revolver Ammo ed è venduto a $50. Accetta munizioni per revolver Regular, High Velocity, Split Point, Express ed Explosive.
Arthur Morgan inizia Red Dead Redemption 2 con un Cattleman Revolver, mentre l'arma è disponibile fin dall'inizio in Red Dead Online. Un secondo modello standard può essere acquistato da qualsiasi gunsmith o sottratto a un NPC ucciso. In Red Dead Online, può anche essere ordinato tramite l'Handheld Catalog e ritirato da un cavallo, Post Office o Camp.

- ◆Unlike a real gun, when reloading the player never half-cocks the revolver in order to make the cylinder rotate. Same applies to NPCs.
- ◆The Cattleman Revolver is by far the most widely used weapon among various NPCs, Lawmen and bandits. This can be seen as a historical accuracy of the game, as the Colt Model 1873 is generally regarded as the most popular revolver of the Old West. In addition to the appeal of its reliability and other qualities, its popularity came about in part because by 1877 Colt made models of this weapon that could use ammunition that was compatible with the Winchester Model 1873 repeater (and later the Winchester Model 1892).
- ◆John Marston has his own unique Cattleman Revolver, as well as various other gang members such as Hosea Matthews, Sadie Adler, Kieran Duffy, Sean MacGuire and Lenny Summers, who also have their own unique versions.
- ◆Charles Smith is shown owning a Cattleman Revolver in “That’s Murfree Country” when Arthur asks Charles to accompany him, but he swaps it out for his custom Sawed-Off Shotgun when he learns their destination.

- ◆The Cattleman is one of the fastest reloading revolvers in the game. This is in stark contrast with its real life counterpart, as its gate-loading mechanism means that it reloads very slowly with each empty case needing to be ejected before new cartridges are inserted one by one.
