El Cattleman Revolver es un revólver de seis disparos de Red Dead Redemption 2 y Red Dead Online. Es un arma corta corriente y versátil, pensada para combates a corta y media distancia en lugar de destacar por su potencia a larga distancia. Lleva seis cartuchos, admite una reserva de hasta 400 de Revolver Ammo y cuesta $50. Usa munición de revólver Regular, High Velocity, Split Point, Express y Explosive.
Arthur Morgan comienza Red Dead Redemption 2 con un Cattleman Revolver, y el arma está disponible desde el inicio en Red Dead Online. Se puede comprar un segundo modelo estándar a cualquier gunsmith o recogerlo de un NPC abatido. En Red Dead Online también se puede pedir mediante el Handheld Catalog y recoger en el caballo, una Post Office o el Camp.
El Cattleman combina daño, precisión y alcance moderados con una alta cadencia de tiro, sobre todo al disparar desde la cadera. Se emplea en combates generales, permite llevar dos revólveres y se puede usar a caballo. Rifling aumenta su alcance, mientras que un cañón largo e improved iron sights mejoran la precisión. Un disparo a la cabeza, el cuello o la parte alta del pecho puede matar de un tiro, a diferencia de los impactos en el torso, que pueden requerir varios.

- ◆The Cattleman Revolver is based on the Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver.
- ◆Based on the 5.5 inch Artillery model. When the long barrel is bought and put at the Gunsmith, it becomes the Cavalry model with the 7.5 inch barrel.
- ◆Unlike a real gun, when reloading the player never half-cocks the revolver in order to make the cylinder rotate. Same applies to NPCs.
- ◆The Cattleman Revolver is by far the most widely used weapon among various NPCs, Lawmen and bandits. This can be seen as a historical accuracy of the game, as the Colt Model 1873 is generally regarded as the most popular revolver of the Old West. In addition to the appeal of its reliability and other qualities, its popularity came about in part because by 1877 Colt made models of this weapon that could use ammunition that was compatible with the Winchester Model 1873 repeater (and later the Winchester Model 1892).
- ◆John Marston has his own unique Cattleman Revolver, as well as various other gang members such as Hosea Matthews, Sadie Adler, Kieran Duffy, Sean MacGuire and Lenny Summers, who also have their own unique versions.
