El Cattleman Revolver de John es el Cattleman Revolver personalizado de John Marston. El revólver no se puede personalizar.

John lleva este revólver durante "Jim Milton Rides, Again?". Queda disponible tras "Motherhood", cuando pasa a acompañar a Marston como su arma corta personal.

También puede conseguirse antes en "Paying a Social Call" si un O'Driscoll desarma a John durante el tiroteo, le arrebata el revólver y lo deja caer. El mismo resultado puede darse en "The Sheep and the Goats". Antes de "Pouring Forth Oil I" y "Pouring Forth Oil III", John puede morir en Horseshoe Overlook y dejar el revólver en el suelo junto a él.

◆John most likely had this weapon throughout the entirety of his time in the gang, explaining its worn appearance. Additionally, he can be seen using it in 1899 when the player controls Arthur Morgan.
◆Despite the compendium saying that this weapon has “seen better days”, it shares the same stats as the regular Cattleman Revolver.
◆The revolvers used by Hosea Matthews look almost identical to this weapon.
◆Unlike Micah's Revolver, this weapon has two slots in the weapon inventory, but a second one can be acquired only via exploits.
◆A possible lore explanation for this weapon's absence from Red Dead Redemption is that it had been rendered unserviceable through extensive use and wear-and-tear.
◆The weapon wheel incorrectly displays John's Cattleman Revolver as using the base variant's icon.
◆The revolver makes a unique crackling sound when fired.
