Legendary Bullgator "Lacartus" to legendarny aligator występujący w Red Dead Redemption 2. Należy do największych zwierząt w grze, a wyróżnia go olbrzymie ciało oraz biała, łuskowata skóra. Jego ubarwienie przypomina albinizm albo leukizm. Lacartus jest wyjątkowo wytrzymały jak na aligatora i porusza się ze zwodniczą szybkością, przez co jest groźnym przedstawicielem swojego gatunku.
Lacartus po raz pierwszy pojawia się w misji "Country Pursuits", gdy atakuje łódź, na której płynie Jules, i zostawia go uwięzionego na bagnach. Później rani Julesa, kiedy ten próbuje uwolnić łódź, ściga Arthura i Julesa w wodzie, a następnie podąża za grupą wracającą w stronę Lagras. Arthur i Dutch odpędzają go strzałami, lecz go nie zabijają. Po "That's Murfree Country" można go upolować w Bayou Nwa, na południe od Lagras i na zachód od Lakay.
Upolowanie Lacartusa daje Legendary Alligator Skin, Big Game Meat oraz Legendary Alligator Tooth. Skóra służy u Trappera do wykonania części zestawu The Death Roll Garment Set, w tym Legendary Alligator Fowlers, Legendary Alligator Vest i Legendary Alligator Gambler's Hat. Ząb można wykorzystać u Fence'a do stworzenia Alligator Tooth Talisman.

- ◆According to the Trapper, the people of Lagras gave the gator the name "Lacartus". This name could be seen after studying him in earlier versions of the game, after pressing the 'show info' button. His full title in earlier versions of the game is "Lacartus – Legendary Bull Gator".
- ◆The Legendary Bullgator is one of only two legendary animals to appear in a story mission, the other being the Legendary Bharati Grizzly Bear.
- ◆Hunting the bullgator is very dangerous, as it will kill the player with a single hit regardless of their health.
- ◆Lacartus has the single highest health pool of any animal, legendary or otherwise, in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- ◆Horses will, oddly, not be spooked by Lacartus unless they are very close to him, despite his size and conspicuousness. He shares this feature with normal alligators.
- ◆Lacartus constantly walks around, unlike other alligators who usually bask in water or on swamp shores. Lacartus, unlike other alligators who turn around and hiss or growl, will instantly give chase when he notices the player.
- ◆Despite being listed as an albino in game, it is more likely this is a leucistic gator rather than a true albino. This can be seen primarily in the gray eyes rather than bright pink/red that albino animals get from a true lack of pigment cells. The reason it's labeled as such is because the difference between albino and leucism back when the game is set was likely not known especially by the average person.
- ◆The Legendary Bullgator can be killed by simply making him run too far, this holds up to the real world gator as they are ambush predators that rely on short distance bursts of speed rather than prolonged running.
