O Legendary Bullgator "Lacartus" é um aligátor lendário de Red Dead Redemption 2. Ele está entre os maiores animais do jogo, com um corpo imenso e couro branco coberto de escamas. A coloração lembra albinismo ou leucismo. Lacartus é muito resistente para um aligátor e se move com velocidade enganosa, o que o torna um membro perigoso de sua espécie.
Lacartus aparece primeiro em "Country Pursuits", depois de atacar o barco em que Jules viaja e deixá-lo preso no pântano. Mais tarde, ele fere Jules quando o homem tenta soltar o barco, persegue Arthur e Jules pela água e segue o grupo no retorno para Lagras. Arthur e Dutch o afastam a tiros, mas não o matam. Após "That's Murfree Country", ele pode ser caçado em Bayou Nwa, ao sul de Lagras e a oeste de Lakay.
A caça a Lacartus rende Legendary Alligator Skin, Big Game Meat e Legendary Alligator Tooth. A pele é usada pelo Trapper em peças do conjunto The Death Roll Garment Set, entre elas Legendary Alligator Fowlers, Legendary Alligator Vest e Legendary Alligator Gambler's Hat. O dente pode ser levado a um Fence para criar o Alligator Tooth Talisman.

- ◆According to the Trapper, the people of Lagras gave the gator the name "Lacartus". This name could be seen after studying him in earlier versions of the game, after pressing the 'show info' button. His full title in earlier versions of the game is "Lacartus – Legendary Bull Gator".
- ◆The Legendary Bullgator is one of only two legendary animals to appear in a story mission, the other being the Legendary Bharati Grizzly Bear.
- ◆Hunting the bullgator is very dangerous, as it will kill the player with a single hit regardless of their health.
- ◆Lacartus has the single highest health pool of any animal, legendary or otherwise, in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- ◆Horses will, oddly, not be spooked by Lacartus unless they are very close to him, despite his size and conspicuousness. He shares this feature with normal alligators.
- ◆Lacartus constantly walks around, unlike other alligators who usually bask in water or on swamp shores. Lacartus, unlike other alligators who turn around and hiss or growl, will instantly give chase when he notices the player.
- ◆Despite being listed as an albino in game, it is more likely this is a leucistic gator rather than a true albino. This can be seen primarily in the gray eyes rather than bright pink/red that albino animals get from a true lack of pigment cells. The reason it's labeled as such is because the difference between albino and leucism back when the game is set was likely not known especially by the average person.
- ◆The Legendary Bullgator can be killed by simply making him run too far, this holds up to the real world gator as they are ambush predators that rely on short distance bursts of speed rather than prolonged running.
