John Marston встречает Jeb Blankenship в Rathskeller Fork. Jeb говорит, что бандиты похитили его любовь, и просит John разыскать ее в Tumbleweed. John принимает просьбу, едет на юг и следует к отмеченному месту за пределами поселения.
В Tumbleweed John разбирается с людьми, занявшими это место, если они еще находятся там. Он находит пропавшую лошадь Jeb, Lucy, рядом с Ann Stephenson. Ann тоже оказывается втянута в дела бандитов. John забирает Lucy, а Ann сопровождает его в обратной дороге.
John возвращает Lucy в Rathskeller Fork, и Ann едет следом. Там Jeb вновь видит лошадь, которую называет своей любовью. Ann и Lucy остаются в Rathskeller Fork, когда John оставляет Jeb рядом с Lucy.

- ◆After some time, in a later edition of the newspaper, it is reported that Jeb has married his "love" the horse, and that no friends or family members attended the ceremony.

- ◆In the Tumbleweed cemetery, there is a tombstone of a woman named Grace Blankenship who died in 1907 and is outlived by "loving husband Jeb". This grave is most assuredly the resting place of Jeb's late wife. Like Billy in "Flowers for a Lady", it is entirely possible that Jeb lost his sanity when his wife died, causing him to fall in love with a horse.
