Cuban Military является силой Cuban Government, оккупирующей Guarma под командованием Colonel Alberto Fussar. Солдаты охраняют сахарные плантации острова, поддерживают власть Fussar и подавляют восстание Hercule Fontaine. Fussar руководит войсками из Aguasdulces. Его правой рукой является Levi Simon, а Angel допрашивает пленных по его приказу.
После того как корабль банды Van der Linde тонет во время бегства из Saint Denis, Arthur Morgan попадает на Guarma и встречает остальных участников банды, застрявших на острове. Солдаты Levi Simon захватывают Arthur, Dutch van der Linde, Bill Williamson, Micah Bell и Javier Escuella, сковывая их цепями вместе с пленными повстанцами. Люди Fontaine нападают на конвой. Javier ранят в ногу и увозят, а Arthur, Dutch, Bill и Micah уходят вместе с повстанцами.

Arthur сдерживает преследование, прежде чем присоединиться к остальным в Cinco Torres.
В Cinco Torres Fontaine объясняет, что Cuban Military блокировала Guarma, а Fussar запросил военный корабль с Кубы. Корабль обстреливает форт, пока солдаты высаживаются на берегу внизу, но Arthur топит его пушечным огнём. Позже банда штурмует Aguasdulces, освобождает капитана корабля, доставившего их на Guarma, и прорывается через военных, чтобы уничтожить артиллерийские батареи. Во время штурма Fussar погибает, а банда покидает остров.

- ◆Cuban soldiers appear to wear the Model 1886 Rayadillo tunic of the Spanish Colonial Infantry, which was in use in Cuba and Puerto Rico until at least 1899. The in-game variant however has a red collar which was not featured on its real life counterpart.
- ◆If the player enters Guarma prior to Chapter 5 using exploits, the soldiers will not be hostile to the player. If greeted by Arthur they will reply with basic and generic Spanish voice lines.
- ◆Also, if the player uses a glitch to avoid the restrictions in Guarma even after Chapter 5, they will reply even at John.
- ◆Cuban soldiers have almost perfect accuracy and will always spawn in very large numbers at one time, making them one of the most formidable enemies in the game.
- ◆The majority of the Cuban soldiers wear the Sun Hat, but many wear random variations of a sombrero, or no hat at all.
- ◆None of the soldiers wear any apparent rank insignia, and there doesn't appear to be any apparent rank structure other than the named characters.
