Player notes

After Crystal Maze, Michael, Franklin or Trevor can approach the dartboard at the Yellow Jack Inn in the Grand Senora Desert, near Sandy Shores. They can play while spending time with another character or take on a local opponent alone. A match begins at the board with both players on 301 points.

Each turn, the player throws three darts at the numbered board. Black and white sections award their printed value, the outer coloured ring doubles it and the inner coloured ring triples it. The outer bull scores 25 and the centre bull scores 50. While lining up a throw, the aim shakes, though it can be steadied briefly for a more precise shot.

The score falls with every successful hit as the players race to reach exactly zero. The final dart has to land in a double section or the bull. If a player goes below zero, or leaves a score that cannot be finished with a double, that turn is voided and the previous score remains. The game ends when one player checks out correctly at the Yellow Jack Inn.

  • โ—†Roman Bellic: Game art of the unnamed bikini-clad woman from GTA Vice City, reflecting his love for women.
  • โ—†Little Jacob: A marijuana leaf, reflecting his avid use of marijuana. Also used when Luis Lopez is playing with Henrique Bardas.
  • โ—†Patrick McReary: A caricature of a drunk, pants-less Irish man (similar to that of the Lucky Winkles' logo). Also used when Luis Lopez is playing with Armando Torres.
  • โ—†Any girlfriend or a random opponent (when not playing with a friend): The Flag of Scotland, likely referencing Rockstar North. Also used when Luis Lopez is playing with a random opponent.
  • โ—†Johnny Klebitz: Flag of the Confederate Army.
  • โ—†There are two more designs that are not used in the games:

  • โ—†There is a Darts board at Tequi-la-la in GTA V, so it can be assumed it probably was another location for Darts, which was cut when the bar's interior was closed (with exception of the Vinewood Souvenirs side mission).

  • โ—†In GTA V, just like Tennis, darts can only be played with one friend at a time.
  • โ—†In GTA Online, the option to play as a single player, without opponent, is available. No NPC opponents are provided.
