Player notes
After Predator, Franklin finds Mary-Ann Quinn stretching at North Point, between Paleto Bay and Procopio Beach. She immediately accuses him of looking at her ass. Franklin says she is not his type, but Mary-Ann mocks him and asks whether he would rather have a stay-at-home cheerleader. When she says she is getting ready for a "three-way," Franklin mistakes her meaning until she explains that she is training for a triathlon.
Mary-Ann continues to insult Franklin and complain about men, so he challenges her to race. They enter Paleto Bay and swim across the water. On the far shore, both take bicycles and follow the boardwalk beside the beach. The race then leaves the bikes behind, with Franklin and Mary-Ann running the marked route through Paleto Forest toward the finish.
Franklin reaches the finish ahead of Mary-Ann. She asks whether he intends to gloat, and he answers that taking part is what matters. Mary-Ann rejects that idea, insisting that it is always about winning. Calling herself a fat, unmarried, career-driven loser, she runs away from North Point.
Trivia
- โA glitch can occur with Trevor's part of the mission. If the player completes the race with too much of a margin, Mary-Ann will arrive at the finish but will stop before reaching it, upon which the mission cannot be completed and must be failed in order to be reattempted. Waiting a little can result in her eventually crossing the line. Just wait until their discussion is about to end.
- โThe name of these missions is an obvious play on the term 'exorcising demons'.
- โIn Michael's mission, Mary-Ann will comment that she is embarrassed that she is racing with Michael while he isn't properly dressed and that it makes it publicly seem he is chasing her. If the player actually starts this mission in sportswear, Mary-Ann will instead say that she bets Michael bought the running gear just to hit on girls at the bar.
- โAlso in Michael's mission, there is a man suffering a heart attack and being assisted by a lifeguard once the player reaches the walkway at Del Perro Beach.
- โDuring each mission, certain cars always appear each time they are played. In Michael's mission, a black Banshee and Regina will always appear driving up Bay City Incline. In Franklin's mission, a white Patriot will always appear driving down Procopio Promenade. In Trevor's mission, a dark gray Penumbra being chased by an Interceptor will always appear driving up one of the unnamed roads.
