Player notes

At Trevor's Trailer in Sandy Shores, Patricia Madrazo slaps Trevor Philips after finding him inhaling gasoline while Michael De Santa watches. Trevor and Michael argue over their lives, then share a beer and laugh it off. Trevor says Franklin Clinton is dealing with a problem for him. The two leave in Trevor's truck for Franklin's position, and the view shifts to Franklin on the Great Ocean Highway near North Chumash with Chop beside him in a Baller.

Franklin tails Elwood, Walton and Wynn O'Neil in their Dubsta. When the brothers notice him, they race into Raton Canyon. An elk crosses their path, forcing the Dubsta off the road. It rolls down the slope and catches fire, but the O'Neils escape into the forest. Franklin and Chop inspect the wreck, then Franklin calls Trevor and asks for help from the air.

The view returns to Trevor as he and Michael reach Sandy Shores Airfield and take Trevor's Frogger. Trevor flies them to the forest above Raton Canyon. Control passes to Michael, who searches the woods through a thermal sniper scope while deer move among the trees. He kills Walton and Wynn, but Elwood stays behind cover and fires rockets at the helicopter.

Control shifts back to Franklin on the ground. Michael tells him to locate Elwood, and Chop picks up the brother's trail through the canyon. Franklin follows Chop to Elwood and kills him. Trevor lands the Frogger to collect Franklin and Chop, then returns with Michael to Sandy Shores Airfield. Michael, Franklin and Chop leave the airfield in a black Cavalcade.

Trivia

  • โ—†The O'Neils' Dubsta is immune to bullets and explosions, to prevent the player from killing them before they reach the canyon.
  • โ—†The vehicle is not actually destroyed or wrecked, as the fire caught by the vehicle itself is fake and will not harm the player; the rear lights are still on, its door ajar chime can still be heard, and it is still drivable.
  • โ—†The Sasquatch is briefly seen when hunting for the O'Neil brothers, but he disappears if Michael zooms in on him. The last O'Neil brother also says the Sasquatch's quote: "I'm the last of my kind".
  • โ—†Trevor's personal variant of the Frogger is painted a solid black, whereas the helicopter in Three's Company, which he claims he has stolen, is seen with a red and white livery that appears in most spawned variations. Additionally, Trevor's helicopter has unique FIB decal embossed on the side that, while nearly obscured by orange spray paint, is not present on the Three's Company Frogger. This is most likely a continuity error.
  • โ—†The name of the mission is a homage to the 1987 film Predator, where a technologically advanced form of extraterrestrial life stalks and hunts the main protagonists in a forest assisted with thermal vision, in the same fashion that Michael stalks and hunts the remaining O'Neil brothers with the thermal scope sniper.
  • โ—†Since the bottom slot is used for the , Chop will take Michael's slot. In the enhanced version, Chop occupies Trevor's slot instead.
  • โ—†If Franklin keeps following Elwood, there will eventually be a car conveniently parked in which Elwood will try to escape. The player can easily eliminate him by blowing him up with a sticky bomb or a rocket launcher. The area is also a very good place to pick up Franklin as it is flat and free of trees.
  • โ—†This is one of three missions in the storyline that can be automatically triggered by switching to a protagonist following the completion of the previous mission, the other being Fame or Shame and the next is Architect's Plans.
