The first-generation Gallivanter Baller is a four-door, full-size SUV with room for four people. Its shape adapts the Huntley, though it has a plainer, less luxurious treatment, with a wide front bumper, chrome-framed grille, side vents, stepsides and eight-spoke wheels. The body and interior stitching share the primary paint colour.

In Grand Theft Auto V, Ballers appear around Vinewood Racetrack and Calafia Road by the Alamo Sea. Two can be seen inside the Benefactor-Gallivanter Dealership in West Vinewood, beside a Dubsta and Feltzer. In Grand Theft Auto Online, they commonly appear at Vespucci Beach and on the Del Perro Freeway, and can also turn up around Davis, Strawberry and The Diamond Casino & Resort. The Baller is heavy and slow for an SUV, with average acceleration, a broad turning circle and understeer at speed. It climbs steep ground well, performs capably off road and withstands damage better than most vehicles. Martin Madrazo's cartel owns black Ballers, while Ballas also use them. The SUV appears in missions as pursuit transport, a repossession target, bodyguard transport, a provided mission vehicle and a Salvage Yard tow target.
