Mesa (HD Universe)

The Canis Mesa is a compact, four-door SUV in the SUVs class, with room for four people. Its boxy body, raised suspension and rugged plastic trim give it an off-road appearance, although it is less specialised than its off-road counterpart. Some naturally occurring Mesas have a black roof cover with a decorative third brake light. The side-hinged rear hatch opens to the right, and its single paint colour also changes the interior stitching.

The Mesa has average top speed but accelerates well for its class because of its low weight. Its all-wheel-drive layout, strong torque and light construction make it capable on dirt and able to climb steep slopes. It needs measured steering, since its turning circle is wide. The SUV withstands gunfire and collisions well, and once moving it can carry enough momentum to push through obstacles and roadblocks, even against larger vehicles such as the Emperor.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the Mesa is common around Los Santos, Blaine County and rural areas. It appears at Korean Plaza, Two Hoots Falls in Tongva Valley, the Rebel Radio Building on Route 68, and throughout Paleto Bay, including beside the Paleto Tattoo parlor on Duluoz Avenue. In GTA Online it is also found around Los Santos and Blaine County, sometimes outside Fort Zancudo hangars 3499, 3497 and A2. It can be sold at Los Santos Customs for $3,000, and is used in Ridge Run, Eco Friendly, Off-Road races and SUV races.
