Net per real hour is what the business earns while you do something else. Net per active hour counts only the minutes you must be present โ resupply runs and the sale. The first answers whether to own it; the second answers whether to grind it.

Caveats
- Models the office safe only. The wiki states the club accrues up to $50,000 per in-game day (48 real minutes) at full popularity, into a safe capped at $250,000, so one cycle is five in-game days of accrual followed by a walk to the safe.
- The goods warehouse is deliberately NOT modelled. Its output depends on which other businesses the player owns and how many technicians are assigned, and the wiki publishes no per-goods accrual rate. All three upgrades chiefly affect goods, popularity decay and raid frequency, so none of them changes the safe figure and none shows a break-even here. Their costs are wiki-stated and shown so that total investment stays honest.
- Safe capacity has moved between patches: $70,000 before The Contract, then $250,000, then $210,000 after Double Down Week. $250,000 is the figure the wiki currently states.
- Payout falls with popularity: $50,000/day at 95-100%, $20,000 at 60%, $1,500 at 0%. This model assumes popularity is kept in the top band, and the player minutes per cycle count the promotion missions that takes as well as the walk to the safe. Popularity decays whether or not you are in session, so leaving the club alone for a week does not give you five days at $50,000.
