Dilettante (Merryweather)

The Karin Dilettante (Merryweather) is a four-door hybrid electric liftback in the Compacts class. It seats four and retains the standard Dilettante's shape and interior, distinguished by a Merryweather Security Patrol livery and an all-white finish. Merryweather Security operates the vehicle as a patrol car.

It can patrol Davis Quartz, Elysian Island and Vinewood Hills, and sometimes appears near 3671 Whispymound Drive at any hour. Taking one from its guard provokes the driver and brings a one-star wanted level. The vehicle is also used during several Grand Theft Auto Online jobs, including Project 4808A: Terminal, Project 4808E: Arena, Heist Prep: Gruppe Sechs Gear Part 2, Investigation: The Country Club, Studio Time, Fooligan Job: Working Remotely and The Gangbanger Robbery.

Its handling is the same as the regular Dilettante's. It is easier to control than the Prairie through low and medium-speed turns, but its bodywork deforms heavily even in minor collisions and offers little resistance to gunfire. An electric motor propels it below 40 mph, while a V8 combustion engine takes over for most driving and gives the car a distinctive roar. It reaches 60 mph in about 7.1 seconds and tops out at 90 mph.
